Class Descriptions:
BodyPump – A rapid fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscles! After an exhaustive study, BODYPUMP was verified by the University of Auckland as providing the fastest body fat loss of any fitness class.
BodyStep – The ultimate way to give your body a high energy cardioblast and tone the hips and thighs. With over 2,000 steps per session you’ll see results in record time. Get in step with one of the best fitness classes the world has to offer.
RPM – Take the ultimate ride! RPM incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe, aerobic, adrenaline ride. Get in the zone and find out why RPM is totally addictive.
Pilates – The ultimate core workout. This one hour class includes strength, flexibility, and stability training while focusing on the powerhouse of the body… the abdominal and back muscles. A true mind/body class.
Super Core – A 30 minute core strength class using the stability ball and work on the mat. Come and join us in working those abdominal and lower back muscles.
Super Stretch - 30 minutes of intense flexiblity training. Keep those muscle long and strong. An important part of any training program.
Tri-Prep - The best of three great workouts: swimming, indoor cycling, and running. Prepare for a mini triathalon in a group format.
Yoga - Balance, flexibility, and strength are teh focus in this hour long class. Challenge your body with a basic, eastern mind/body experience. Come away with those muscles longer and stronger.
BodyFlow - A class that reinforces flexibility and strength, combining the best of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates. Truly a fitness class for the 21st Century, BODYFLOW brings mind and body into perfect harmony. Try this revolutionary, holistic approach to fitness.
Zumba - It is the latest craze here @ NOMAD! Combine Latin and hip-hop music, dancing, laughter, a few "naughty" moves, fun and you've got a great workout! Join us for our newest class Monday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
Cardio Kick-boxing - Join us for quite a workout. A class made up of a lot of sweat and nonstop music, moves and fun! Burn over 700 calories an hour!
Hip-Hop - This class is a lot like Zumba but focuses solely on Hip-Hop music and moves. Are you down?
Funky Fit - is the NEWEST sensation @ NOMAD. This class combines cardio dancing/moves to "funky" music, toning moves for glutes, legs and abs and a YOGA cool down for an extremely well rounded workout!
Group Ex Classes for Kids (ages 5 to 12):
Kids' Zumba - Aerobic dance just for kids! Age appropriate moves and music mixed with a lot of fun!
Kids' Recess Revolution - A kid-friendly workout that is sure to make them jump around, dance and sweat! Class components will alternate between running, jumping, jump-rope, games, dancing, strength training and FUN! Think Athletic Conditioing meets Recess!
